The Process

At Vivace Dancewear, every single skirt is made by hand from start to finish. That means we start with one of our templates, a pair of scissors, and some lovely fabric. After the fabric has been cut and appropriately measured, we pick out a tie that best compliments the skirt. With so many colors and shades to choose from, this is our favorite part.

Now it's time to sew. We've opted to sew by hand instead of using a machine for a seamless and flawless finish.

Once everything has been sewn, including our label, it's time to pack. Before packing, we iron each skirt to smooth out any wrinkles and creases and do a quick check to make sure everything is just right. Finally, they get wrapped in tissue paper and topped off with a bow.

* Fun fact! We try to have the tissue paper and the bow match the colors found in the skirt.
